In this interactive day of exploration, you will…
- Engage in a fun yoga practice with postures and breathwork that help you feel great in your body
- Explore techniques from yoga to build connections with yourself and others, and to reduce stress and anxiety
- Discover simple self-care routines for healthy living from the ancient health system of Ayurveda
- Learn how to make a nourishing lunch and healthy snacks with techniques you can then use to create other delicious meals!

Betsy Bertram is a yoga teacher, community builder, writer, and speaker. She took her first yoga class at age 11 and completed her initial 200-hour yoga teacher training at Kripalu in 2011 at age 19.
Her love of children inspired her to launch Sprout, Youth and Teen yoga classes designed for children and teens to develop a mind body connection, self-compassion, and a love for the natural world through yoga poses inspired by nature. For Betsy, yoga is the connection between breath and body, intention and expression, heart and soul. Her classes include yoga philosophy, therapeutic adjustments, and breathwork. Ivy Ingram, MA, AP, is an Ayurveda Practitioner and yoga teacher specializing in women’s health with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. She loves working with teens and young adults to help them develop a personal healthy lifestyle that builds on their interests and strengths.
She works with clients in individual consultations, online programs, seasonal cleanses and educational courses to help them find comfort in their bodies and ease in their life. Ivy is a former faculty member of the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico under the direction of the world-renowned Dr. Vasant Lad. She is also a certified advanced yoga teacher (500 hr level )and has taught yoga in cancer treatment programs and the prison system.
